Last year I was suckered into a blog giveaway by curiousity. I must admit, as the year drew to a close and I nearly forgot about it, I had to make do and quickly make the giveaway gifts. They weren't nearly as elaborate as I had planned, nor anything remotely related to the ideas I originally had. Hopefully this year will be a more organized, better planned and executed giveaway. Yes, I DO intend to do it again! It was so much fun when I got down to business that I was disappointed with what I ended up making due to lack of time. Not that they weren't useful gifts (I enjoy my own and use it quite frequently), but once I have a plan, anything less is disappointing. I know, some of you are dying to know what the gifts were, but some of them are yet to be sent out in the mail and I don't want to give it away for those receiving them.
Today as I was waiting for my goodreads account to link to my facebook account (which takes FOREVER on my broadband!) I was surfing and found some AWESOME and inspiring blogs. This craft blog is dedicated to keeping me on track of my projects. Hopefully I will finish many in the new year-- especially as my working days draw to an end and I have more time (knock on wood!) for my hobbies. Possibly our sisterly craft days could start up again. . . though they were lacking in attendance for so much work on my end. Maybe a select few who will cross-their-hearts-and-hope-to-die pledging their allegiance will get me to start again.
I have an infinite amount of projects on my agenda for 2010 (alright, not an infinite amount, since I can count them if I wanted to and in spite of what Taylor claims he has done twice, NO ONE can count to infinity!). It seems that everytime I walk into JoAnn's, Hobby Lobby, Michael's, Home Depot. . . just about any store, really. . . I can't help leaving without at least one new book filled with projects I want to attempt. I am longing for the day I have some room to work with and can leave my crafty clutter lying about. Needless to say, my list of projects keeps growing. Hopefully there will be pics of completed projects on the way soon.
In the meantime, feel free to check out some of the blog links that I have saved and be inspired for yourself!
